Information for Authors
Distribution
All workshop papers will be published in the official
proceedings, Springer Lecture Notes of the Institute for Computer
Sciences, Social-Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering -
LNICST, of the main conference.
All workshop papers will be also published on the UCMedia2009 Website.
Selected workshop papers will be published in "ACM Springer
Mobile Networks and Applications (MONET) Journal Special Issue on
Mobility and User-Centric Media".
Submission
Papers should describe original work and should indicate the state of
completion of the reported results. In particular, overlap with
previously published work should be clearly mentioned. Submissions
will be judged on
correctness,
novelty,
technical strength,
clarity of presentation,
usability,
significance and relevance to the Workshop.
We expect two kinds of submissions:
regular papers: 6 pages long, research papers presenting novel
approaches and solutions;
short papers (presented as posters): 4 pages long, system
demonstrations, descriptions, and work in progress.
All papers should be formatted according to instructions in the
Guide
for Authors at the LNICST website.
Submission will be electronic, in
PDF format via
the
EasyChair
Web-based conference management system. Information about the
authors must be omitted from the submitted papers, since the review
process will be blind.
Each submission will be reviewed by 3-5 members of the Program
Committee. Authors of accepted papers will receive guidelines for
producing camera-ready versions of their papers for inclusion in the
Conference Proceedings.
