How to get to Mallorca
The Son Sant Joan international airport is the main means of access to the island of Mallorca and it is located 8 kilometres east of the capital, within its municipal area. Direct and connecting flights, scheduled and charter, link Palma with all main European destinations. There is a regular bus connection between Palma and the airport and the journey takes 20 minutes. Buses leave the airport for the city centre (Plaza de España) every 15 minutes, and from here, buses can then be taken to other points and towns on the island. At the airport, there is a permanent taxi rank and a number of car-rental agencies.
